Something really random. The current so-called Web 2.0 design trend includes fansy but simple rounded corner buttons, CSS stuff and the notorious - especially in the blogosphere - miniscure fonts. Why should anyone squint their eyes trying to decipher the tiny texts? Hence, I decided all fonts on this site are Arial sized 12 against a dark blackground. Not sure whether it's easy for you to read - for me it sure is, especially when I need to stare at all these graphics and texts while the site is being designed in Dreamweaver. Enjoy (:

As an opening statement in the first entry, I would like to bring in the following quote:
“Making a good movie is like having sex; many elements have to be right to feel good.”
Who said this? You may vaguely remember from American Pie that this holy man-woman ritual is compared to a rocket launch in that NASA is no less particular about the right element: the right time, right wind, right clouds. Same here with film-making.
Generally speaking, the film-maker alone cannot make miracles especially if he/she is inexperienced (though full of passion by any standards); he/she needs a good cast, good screenplay, good equipment, good music... the list can go on, but just think about it: if you were the cinematographer/director of photography for the timeless classic Sound of Music and you decided to film the whole thing with a fully-automatic-with-no-manual-overrides Sony Handicam (while all the other factors remained constant), what would your Sound of Music be like?
And do enjoy viewing the site. Love to hear critiques from you (:
